Material and Care

Stainless Steel

We use high-quality 316L stainless steel, also known as surgical steel. This material is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and discolouration, while also being gentle on the skin. The steel is water-resistant and retains its colour well over time.

To prolong the life of your jewellery, wipe it clean if exposed to water, sweat, perfume, or skincare products. Store pieces separately to avoid scratches and tangling.

18K Gold Plating

Our gold-coloured jewellery is plated with 18 karat gold using a durable PVD process (Physical Vapor Deposition). This method creates a water-resistant and hard-wearing surface that withstands daily wear, perfume, water, and salt.

Despite its high durability, it’s always best to treat gold-plated jewellery with care – wipe after use and avoid prolonged contact with other pieces to prevent scratching.

Cultured Freshwater Pearls

Our cultured freshwater pearls require a little extra care to maintain their lustre. Gently wipe the pearls with a slightly damp, soft cloth after use. Avoid cleaning agents and grease-dissolving products such as dish soap. Store pearls separately from other jewellery to avoid scratches, but not in cotton as it can dry them out.

Freshwater pearls are formed when a mother-of-pearl bead is placed inside a mussel together with a piece of mantle tissue. Layer upon layer of nacre then creates the pearl’s unique shape and colour – making each pearl truly one of a kind.

Usage Guidelines

You can shower and swim with our jewellery, but rinse and dry it afterwards.
Avoid wearing jewellery during weight training or activities that may expose it to hard impacts.

Store pieces in a jewellery pouch or box when not in use, keeping them separate to minimise scratches.

Larger pieces with pearls or stones should be kept away from prolonged water exposure.
